A745 3-speed shifter

My column shifter is worn out. I'd like to replace it with a floor shifter. Hurst has a universal 3-speed shifter, part number 530-5010002 in Jeg's catalog. Any thoughts? The paperwork says the model for '61-'62 Chrysler, and '61 Dodge and Plymouth is DP-61. 1962 Dodge and Plymouth shows DP-62.
