Is this correct fuel tank sender for my 59 dodge custom royal ? From Vans auto in waupon wi. appears to be indenticle to old junk unit . I seen another unit that had  different ohms numbers . These guys at vans auto  are Mopar gurus  and should know there stuff.

Measure the response on your gauge, but all the '57-'58 Chrysler, DeSoto, Dodge & Plymouth that I have dealt with used 215 ohm senders. There are multiple versions of these for some reason and most have the wrong range.

Have u tested it before mounting ? Just hook-up to sender wire in trunk , ground sender shell , and watch the fuel-guage.

I was informed that the '59 Dodge is unique in that they went to the '60 style gauge, so it has a lower range than the other cars from '57-'59.

if its the 1960 style its 10 - 75 but if you test it , it might be a + or - of a few ohms -------------------------------------------later
