Tail light assembly

willard77 Posted 2019-11-16 8:20 AM (#590196) Subject: Tail light assembly Member Posts: 44 Hello everyone, I have a 1957 Savoy and was wondering if the tail light assembly can be switched out with lights from a 1958? I don't have the 57 lights but do have a 1958 parts car with complete light assembly's. Thanks in advance for any and all help. Cal I believe the inner steel structure is different that determines bulb placement and mounting. So no, you can't swap them without some modification or also swapping the inner part.
