I found a thread in which D500Neil and Doug were discussing Doug's 56 Golden Lancer D500. I found a gmail for Doug but I don't know if it works.

Anybody know Doug?

This was the thread (D500 Neil mentions about protecting his "proprietary research" (from public disclosure) that he might have shared with Doug R.)

Well, here we go again, VERY SAD news: Doug passed away at age 57 in 2016.

"Douglas B. Ruffner, 57, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016, in Omaha, Neb. Doug was a graduate of 1977, Red Bank High School and earned a BS degree from Tennessee Tech. Doug was a design engineer with John Deere. Survivors include his stepfather, Tommy Standifer, of Chattanooga; brother, Charles (Ivina) Ruffner, Jr., of Kingston, Tenn.; one nephew; and several cousins. Graveside services are 3 p.m. Monday, in Greenwood Cemetery, with Rev. Eric Duble officiating. "

I am sad about Doug's passing and I am madder (than before) at Neil for not sharing his "proprietary" info with the world.
