some where there is a thread or 2 here with info on how to stop a 2 door seat back from folding forward for
a 4 door . any body got info or the thread about the stop would be great . i just can't find it in my old age-------------------------------------------------------------later

There is a Utah shaped piece of metal that goes in seat bottom on the inner? side I believe, and that stops the folding feature, remove it and the seat will fold.

I would prefer to have a catch like on the '68-up seat backs so that it doesn't move forward unless you release the catch.

Each seat has a joint on each side that will need to be "jammed" with a steel insert in order to lock the seat upright for use in a four-door.

My pictures are showing me removing them for use in a coupe, but you get the idea. It shows how they need to be oriented down there. (the arrow was on it from the factory!)

You would need four of the steel inserts. I still have mine, if you're looking for some.
