I didn't think those fender ornaments were available for the 300. Kindof like the rear bumper guards. I remember reading that those fender ornaments were only available on the New Yorker. You couldn't even get them on any of the lower end models. But maybe the 300 was considered like a New Yorker?? Still, this car is the first time I have seen them on a 300C-E.

According to another thread here the 343 option "fender ornaments" is a Option on NY only

Old old story. This is the only 300C that got the fender ornaments. No they were not SUPPOSED to go on a 300 but lots of things used to slip through the cracks in the old days. Someone ticked the box on the order form for this car and it happened. Simple.

good price but it needs re-restored a bit? as you can see. I don't understand how the speedo is pitted, obviously it was restored completely and you don't know the quality of the restoration.
