Location: So. Cal | The '55 Plymouth paint and fabric selector book is much simpler and smaller than the '56 version, and also has less information. The front insert really doesn't tell you much, it's more of an advertisement if anything.

Location: So. Cal | There is a selection of paint color cards in the book that you can use to see 2-tone combinations, but there is only one transparency of a Belvedere 4dr sedan. This one is quite wrinkled too. The paint cards have no extra information on them other than the name of the color. Also there doesn't seem to be any color restrictions for the different models like there is for the '56 Plymouth. At least if there are some restrictions, they aren't listed in the book.

Location: So. Cal | There are a lot of nice fabrics for this year. I particularly like the turquoise Texture-Glo fabric for the Savoy. Very stunning. I am tempted to use that one in my '56 Savoy.  Many of the green & turquoise fabrics and vinyls look very similar in color to each other. I am not sure if that's how they were, or if they have faded over time. Here are the selections for the Belvedere. I bet that the Ship & Shield Jacquard fabric didn't last very long as it is very thin and much weaker than the others on here. If you chose to use this fabric, I would recommend putting it over the top of some vinyl to give it more support so it isn't taking the full weight when you sit on it. But it's a good idea to do this with any of these fabrics too.
