Does anyone know if the front seat bottom trim panels are the same shade/sheen of black as the dashboard? The entire car is not here and my pictures of the interior don't give enough clues. It looks like the dashboard is somewhat glossy as compared to the trim panels. They almost look like a matte or flat finish( old age/faded?). I'm hoping to get them painted before it gets too cold as I have the rest of the front seat ready for re-assembly.

Photos would help us determine what exactly the question is.
I can only tell you about my 56 Dodge. The paint on the top of the dash is the same as the paint on the "A" pillar covers. The paint is NOT glossy. More like a satin, presumably to cut down on glare. The paint seems to be unique to the rest of the interior.
The front seat trim panel paint colour is a close match to the vinyl at the bottom of the door panel and the bottom part of the rear seat, at least on a 56 Custom Royal.
Something is wrong with the glove box door paint color in this 56 Dodge. The codes for the blue and green dash paints are shown below (not that you can likely get any made)

Yes, I agree that it appears that the interior is the same as the A pillars. Attached is a pic of my trim panels. Do you have the correct paint code for '55?

Your photo is too small to see what is going on. Resize the original so it is *JUST* under 250 kB and repost.
Here are a couple of 1955 Dodge paint code charts from the internet. They give you an idea about the colours but don't expect to be able to get the paint from an normal automotive paint supplier.

Sorry, I'm still learning how to re-size and post pics.
Thanks for the paint codes. I did find a local paint supplier who I will contact and am hoping if I drop off a trim panel, they can match it. The insides were painted at the factory and have not been exposed to sunlight so they should represent the true color and finish.
