| Got a Vicker's power steering pump I'm going to have rebuilt on my '57 Dodge. What is the best way to remove the power steering pump pulley? I don't want to bend it. Also, would a 57 Dodge and 58 Desoto power steering gear be the same? I want to add power steering to this car and I parted out a 58 Desoto (Firedome) with power steering Thanks |

Location: Southern Sweden - Sturkö island | If there's a groove around the hub, then a two part puller with a ring was used. The puller is turned out from two blocks of steel and then held together around the hub with the ring |

Location: NorCal | My pulley came off easy by just supporting the pulley and smacking the shaft lightly with a shot-filled hammer. Who did you find to rebuild the Vickers pump?
Not sure but I believe the Dodge/Desoto steering gears might not interchange.
