Location: Lower Mainland BC | Glad to have helped in some way. *IF* I was to do it again, I would use my new "best friend", the Dremel E-Z Lock system and cut-off disks. I used metal snips and a grinder but that was brutal.
Sorry to hear about your rod knock. Hope it isn't too serious.
Photos took a bit to show up but now that they are here, they look good.
