Agree. Some people might not look up at the "Welcome" line and notice that there is a message in their in box. Until they click on inbox, the message you sent them stays in YOUR outbox.
I have had a message to "eScore" (Drew somebody) sitting in my outbox since Dec 9, 2017 .

If you have a real email address for Drew could you please PM me with it? It is in regard to some 56 D500 badges that he bought.

From my experience, if you send a private forum email to somebody who either doesn't show up on the forum or when they do, they don't see the "flag" in the Welcome header "You have 47 messages in your inbox (1 new))." and then click on "inbox", that email is still going to be there when the sun explodes and we turn to dust.
Funny thing is I think a while back (a year?) I had a private email about D500s that I sent to somebody named "FINS!" who never opened it and, in the end, I deleted it because I gave up hope of a response.

Location: ZH, Switzerland | From my experience the message just edited and sent will remain in the outbox as long as the receiver doesn't open his inbox to get the new message. When the receiver has read the message it will move to the sent folder. Happy Restoring! |
