To know; the ARC was actually the manufactorer of the record changer/player mechanism that was used in all the record changers.
The record changers were marketed under various names with small cosmetic differences, but the most common ones are;

ARC 2500 (has an AM-transmitter that allows connection to whatever radio)
RCA AP-1 (has a cord and contact that needs an adapted radio)
PhonoMatic 500 (has an AM-transmitter that allows connection to whatever radio)

Below, my RCA AP-1, painfully restored to full function and improved with automatic relay switching for mono in all speakers when using the record changer and stereo when using my converted Golden Touch radio
