Location: The Mile High City | Nine passenger Suburban? That doesn't sound right.
Maybe they could cram 4 skinny people in the front seat, but I don't think the back seat would hold 5 of the skinniest people you could find!

Maybe. 9 passenger seating was definitely available, perhaps not in the lowly Suburban line though (??!!)

Location: Newark, Texas (Fort Worth) | Just the Sierra with Spectator Seating in a 4 door model would seat 9 people. You can tell from the outside by seeing the spare tire panel at the right rear fender. |

Which is absent in the car in question, so no third seat.

Define "passenger". ??
Stack the bodies in the back like firewood. Put a bunch more
on the roof.

Location: DFW, TX | As mentioned, the 2dr wagons were never made available with the Spectator seat arrangement for those last three passengers.
Although, it would be a fairly simple deal to install the rear-facing seat, as the floor is the same. Just have to figure out what to do with the spare tire since it fits in the rear floor compartment that will be used by the third-row passengers' feet.
