Location: San Antonio TX | That quality dashpad is easily worth the asking price by itself! One of those fancy ones manufactured by 3M.
Seriously though, looks decent, but probably full of rusty surprises. Not sure if it's worth $10k......

Location: San Antonio, TX | There's a whole series of hilarious fix-it jobs called "there, I fixed it" on the net. Many include liberal use of duct tape. For example

I detest those blankets. They just spell "I didn't care" to me.
Although in this case, its actually a seat cover. Probably for a 1/2 ton bench seat.

Yes, I was surprised as well - seems like a very plain Jane, no Power windows either. Note also the abused parking brake release lever - how difficult can it be to read "Pull out Push down" Before breaking the handle and bending the lever

Sometimes I get to thinking I paid too much for my car.
But then I see something like this - if this guy really has $14K invested in this to get to the condition its in now . . . . I'm feeling pretty good.

Location: So. Cal | Don't feel bad, we all paid too much. My neighbors advise me that I can get a used Hyundai for not much more than I paid for my New Yorker.... |

Location: Parts Unknown | You know, ... most of the drone population would think
that advice on the Hyundai is first rate.
A current project and parallel ....
Like my cars, I could go down to Home Depot and buy
vinyl windows for my new house, just like all the other
drones. But no, ... I gotta be the weird guy and seek
out 1880's window and restore them. To most people,
this makes no sense at all. Why have something with
character that takes work, when you can have painfully
boring and just make payments ???
