HI, it appears that the rear bumper on the '56 and '55 Suburban is extended rearward from the car location, anyone know why ? Thanks.

Agree that it is probably due to tailgate opening issues. What is surprizing to me is the rear bumper PN is different for the Suburbans, not just how it is mounted.

Rear Bumper: 13-66-n

Face Bar: 13-66-3

Support: 13-66-16
