| I'll be at Fall Hershey for 1 day, Thursday. There is a chance I'll be there Friday as well. No cars just walking |

Probably Carlisle on Thursday by myself, definitely Hershey also Thursday but with my brother. No car - the Desoto is certainly capable but I don't see the sense in driving it that far just to leave it in a parking lot.
Looking forward to seeing a few cars, maybe finding a couple of parts, chatting with Steve, and hopefully making the acquaintance of at least one guy from here . . .

Location: Frederick, MD | I spent today at Carlisle. The weather was beautiful, but I saw very few parts for Mopars. It seems the number of vendors drops every year. There are so many open vendor spaces they could compress the vendors and open up some on-the-grounds parking. |

| any "general" or non Chrysler show is a waste of time imho... can spend days running around looking at 57 chevy, Camaro and mustang parts... |

I didn't make it to Carlisle as I'd hoped, but it sounds like I would have been both surprised and disappointed. I can remember the first time I went years ago (on Saturday) sitting in a line of traffic for miles up the turnpike. The second time we went we got up at 4 am to be there at 6 and beat the crowd.
Even back then my friends and I had noticed that the "professional" vendors were pushing out the hobby guys. Sounds like the non-pro's have continued to dwindle, and the pro's aren't doing well either.
While I understand the lure of specialized shows, I never minded having to swim a sea of Chevy and Ford to find that one Mopar guy on a row. To me the general junk/hobby/flea market guy is where deals can be made and "new" discoveries found. Plus, some of the best deals I've ever made was when I found a Chevy guy sitting on some Mopar stuff - sure he knew it had value, but he'd rather have cash for lunch and gas than have to pack it up and take it home.
Maybe things have changed since my last rodeo . . .
To me one of the problems with specialty shows is you have the same group of guys buying and selling the same parts back and forth to each other from show to show until the price or supposed value is so high only Johnny Deeppockets can afford anything. Frankly that's one of the reasons I left the hobby many years ago. I hope I don't have the same experience now . . .
Still looking forward to Hershey though.

Location: Suwanee, GA | I'll be at Hershey at least Wednesday and Thursday. Looking for suspension parts (ball joints, control arm bushings, etc.) and other misc items for my 62 NYer wagon in case anyone has any insight.

Most of the suspension parts are still available through regular aftermarket parts sources - even Rock Auto shows most applications.
The only thing I've had to go looking for has been an idler arm bushing replacement, but that's because I wanted something better than just a rubber bushing.

Location: Frederick, MD | Beautiful day at Hershey today. Picked up a fuel pump, motor mount, and Suburban badge for the '55 Plymouth. I saw a couple of other parts I wanted, but wasn't willing to pay up for them. |

| I posted almost all of the forward looks I saw for sale today in the Forward look network Facebook page. I bought a 300G Convertible at the auction tonight. |
