There is a d500 engine for sale on the hemi hot heads website/for sale section. There is a close up of the serial number stamping. Looks rough....but...... Just throwing it out there. No ties to seller.

Don't look down the spark plug tubes. But then I had to sleeve two of my cylinders due to mice crawling up the exhaust pipe and sliding past those large open valves to nest.

My eyes! My eyes! You told me not to look but I couldn't help myself (and I just realized that the 57 D500 325 hemis had hydraulic tappets (and no adjustments) unlike like my solid lifter 56 D500 315 hemi)
