Location: Oley, PA | It's a cool car that looks like it has pretty good bones for a restoration project. I think the price is a bit ambitious as I've seen better condition cars sell in that price range. While it's a solid starting point, this car needs a full restoration (pronounced big bucks).
I do have few bones to pick:
1. The seller says "Rust free body." Well, you be the judge on what that means. It clearly has rust and some body filler in certain areas. Maybe "not rotted out" would be a better description. It also looks to me like someone painted over the rust on the bottom with white paint.
2. The seller says "Numbers matching.(413,cu)." Again, you be the judge. At least he has a photo of the engine stamping showing R41 (1st pic below). I believe a correct 300G engine would have R41 HP (2nd pic below). So, while that engine is correct for a 61 Chrysler, it's not a 300G engine.
Probably these are things that anyone buying a letter car would know.

Am I wrong or has this piece of floor pan had a section put in over a rusted out area?

And done badly at that. BUT now it is rust free!!! |

Location: Northen Virginia | it is hard to imagine the $ cost to get this car back to life, specially with a car of this caliber.. I remember a few years ago a nice running 300G selling for about 60K. |

Location: Lordstown, Ohio | This car was on CL in new york state for 16k for over 2 years. Its missing tge exhaust manifolds and other crossram parts. If i remember correctlytrim is missing too. I dont think it has a title also |
