Same. That steering wheel is awful and that engine, especially sporting the big branding on the valve covers just to sink the boot in a little more.

Obviously the importer has no taste either, and is counting on finding a buyer he can convince:
1. That the Chevy lump is more modern and more economical.
2. That a gearstick like that is appropriate with an automatic.
3. That matt black is the 'in thing'.
4. That originality doesn't matter a jot. |

| hah you guys calm down, this is an Aussie car... its the wasteland remember? mad max and all...
You build what you can with whatever parts you can in the outback. I personally think it turned out pretty good considering...

Were it an Aussie car to begin with it would be right hand drive. |

Location: Perth Australia | No, it could have been built here and I think it was for a couple of reasons
1 The steering wheel and column are later model (I think the column is an "Ididit" one, it has a gm style key, but the blinker arm is still on the left), which makes me think "collapsible" which would be an engineering/licensing requirement here
2 Seat belts, another requirement for licensing.
But by built I mean bought over and done up at some time, not sold new
Why a bb chev, who knows, but most people over here in the waste lands don't pollute their cars like this with in correct engines except ls engines into everything (yawn)

Location: Sydney, Australia | That is a Queensland Mod plate and looks pretty new. Especially on top of that fresh engine bay paint.
The Mod plate would be for seat belt, engine and steering..
Car looks like it's come down from Qld to NSW to be sold. NSW don't need seatbelt for that year car but QLD and some other States do.
That steering wheel looks to be off of a European car with that type of crest which would amount to why that indicator stalk is on the left..
