56 Belvedere

I was disappointed to not see one at Carlisle in '15. I don't think there are any in Australia, not that I have seen. The busy side trim is so different, as is the whole car I suppose. This one looks good in black! The alternator and generator installed on the engine is odd. Anyone know what is going on there? Maybe the Gen just carries the pump. StillOutThere Posted 2017-06-24 9:02 AM (#542767 - in reply to #542763) Subject: Re: 56 Belvedere Location: Under the X in Texas Since the power steering pump is driven off the back of the original generator, I would guess the generator shaft was maintained but otherwise gutted because he wanted /needed to add the alternator. Looks odd but when you want an alternator and you have '55-56 power steering, this is one way to get it done. Really nice car!
