Location: Lower Mainland BC | I had to remove the grab handles on the back on the front seat of my 56 Dodge Custom Royal D500 this afternoon in order to remove the factory accessory seat cover that was on the front seat back. I removed the right one with no problems and then reinstalled it (the correct orientation, as per the photo below). However, when I did the left handle, I found that of the captured nuts in the seat frame that accept the bolt was missing when I went to put the handle back on. I did not hear anything fall when I removed that bolt. I think it is a square nut but I am really not sure. Even if I find it, I am not sure how to re-install it because it is hidden by the OE seat cover.
Another case of 2 steps ahead and one step back. Lots of that with this car. I make progress but not always as much as I hoped or planned.
Photo is not my car but one (a D500) that is the same colour, etc. but nicer.
