Location: Valley Forge, Pa. | Again, I have tried to transfer this info but I just can't get it done. There is a nice looking tan with gold coves 4 dr. 1960 Fury in Roanoke Va. on Craigslist says original owner for $5000. I found it under "1960 Plymouth". Didn't spend much time looking at it but at a glance, it looks good[?].
Later,
Karl. |

Location: Valley Forge, Pa. | Just took another look and am not really good at anming MOPAR accessories but it looks like P.S., P.B., the fake tire on the trunk, dual mirrors with remote, 3 spd, auto, not all dinged or dented, maybe rocker issues but hard to tell, radiator leaks, if that is the original interior, the front seat looks good, has the lower stainless behind the rear wheels to the bumper, the Aero[?] steering wheel, I don't know but I think the valve covers don't have the scalloped edges like my 318 so I am guessing it is a larger motor? |

Location: Oley, PA | Looks like a nice solid car at that price. Description says "running condition" but that could mean a lot of things.
Sure looks like a 318 to me. The master cylinder and booster are non-original. Could indicate a disk brake conversion, or something else.

"Great dependable cruise in car that you can get in and drive to any show." How dependable is something that you've owned for only 10 days?
I think it was "bargan priced" when it was $5000. |

It likely didn't sell to this guy for $5000..........I spoke with the original owners family and was told their bottom price was $4250.00.....don't know how they arrived at that number but that's what they would take for it....also, according to them, it was rusty over the headlights and around the trunk lip. They had done the brakes, tires, battery and fluid changes.......
I hope this guy takes a lot of flak over this.......not someone I would deal with.....

You bought it? Did you pay the full asking price? |

| We worked out a deal. If i had spent a few grand in travel and time i might have done better price wise but i have a day job! I got the exact FL car i was looking for. Can't complain. It is pretty complete for the hard to find parts. Belt line trim is banged up around the lights. The inner lip on the trunk is rotted out from sitting water. I got that covered. Undercarriage is solid. I'll pull it apart and restore it and add a forward look to my collection.
