I got to thinking about this model car again recently, this come about due to the post I put up in the Australian forum.
The 59 S.F. in that post is the first American FL I ever saw in the flesh. Kinda got me it did!
I thought at the time, this is the wildest styling of any factory car I had ever seen.
This particular car came from the factory with a manual gearbox.

Anyway, got to thinking, has anyone seen a 59 SF's optioned with the 395 engine with a stick shift?

They made over 17,000 59 SF's so I guess some were ordered? I also guess that would be a super rare variant of this model as I have only seen 2 for sale with a manual box and both were 318's. One was the Australian car, the other was a rusty car in Texas I think(?).

I saw Johns 59 SF convertible at Carlisle last year too (Unreal!!), they are amazing looking cars, and the American buying public in 1959 put that into the history books!

Edit, the Australian car originally was White, like this.
