OK I've read every thread that has to do with converting my ball & trunnion shaft to a slip yoke. Caledl Driveshaft Specialists today and they don't have the 4 3/8 flange yoke required for the conversion. Has anyone done the conversion with the bigger 4 3/8 trans flange size?
Also not exactly sure what to do with the very expensive "mechanics" u-joint on the rear end.
My drive shaft works fine but of course the rubber boot is bad. I thought insteadd of buying the rebuild kit, I would just get a new shaft made with a slip yoke.
Not so easy I'm finding. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
