You Should Not have a Chevy Styled Down Bend.
What you need is called " A MoPar Hook" . It started in 1955 with The Senior Division's and 1956 with The Others. As you Stand Back three yards ---- no Tail Pipe or exhaust anything should be seen. If some one shows a photo of a era MoPar and you see The Exhaust --- Think Chevy.

Location: California | 57 plymouths built during the first month of production had the rear lower valances notched for the tailpipes to prodrude from. I need to know during this first month of production if they were straight cut, angle cut, or downward bent. Thanks. |

I am learning that because of what you have said ---- you have a Standard Design MoPar Straight Tail Pipe that has no bends at the final part. It Is Never a Angle Cut.

A re-look at The original Factory Service Manuals and Parts Books --- shows The Plymouths as last to do what the others had already done.

The parts manual says the change took place with car serial number 14329014 for 6-cylinder models and serial number 16167618 for 8-cylinder cars. |
