Are there any good lubricants for the headlight switch?........I'm dealing with the typical intermittent glow as I rotate the knob, how do you remove the switch and what would you use on the reostat coil?.......

Removing the headlight switch is one of the easier tasks on an Imperial dash. There's a Allen head set screw on the knob and then a nut behind that. It pushes through and out the backside. There should be just enough slack in the wires to let it hang down for easier wire removal.
