Hi,
When converting from a 2 barrel to a 4 barrel setup using an original intake and carb, does the existing throttle linkage work or is that something I'll have to look for also?

Thanks,

Should work. I believe there is adequate linkage adjustment available for proper connections.

Because the 2-barrel carb has the throttle lever in the middle and the 4-barrel lever is further forward, you'll have to lengthen the top rod to reach the 4-barrel lever. If you just pull the rod forward to reach the lever, most of your throttle travel will be used up and you won't be able to attain WOT.
