Just acquired this '57 Sierra wagon, 325 poly and three on the tree. Most of the paint and all the chrome is original, absolutely no rust Nevada car.

Car was sold brand new in Reno and spent its whole life in the area. Fellow I purchased it from got it after it'd been sitting for about 10 years. |

I can't ever leave anything alone, I got a 4-barrel intake and new 500cfm Edelbrock as part of the deal so I'll probably change that out in the near future....maybe A/C down the road. |

Tires are 235/70-15 T/A radials....yeah they do look big on that car. Here's a couple pics of the interior.

| is that all original? Yikes was it in a time capsule? You better have the original rims as backup

Instead of the typical questions like what year or what make, I'll bet your # 1 question will be, "is it a hearse?". |

Location: So. Cal | What are your plans for the transmission? Add an original overdrive or leave it alone or 5 speed or...? What gear ratio are you gonna go with? I love my wagons, but that one is a little too nice to use it like I do mine |

We think alike, to me this particular car only looks really good in black.

I'm gonna investigate the later A-230 3-speed, might be an easy swap. The wagon now has either 3.73 or 3.90 gears and I'll probably change those to 3.55. |
