I do not understand the concept of removing the heater to get a smooth firewall, it can't be driven in cool weather and it is not "97-99 percent original" anymore. Extreme Veteran Posts: 375 Location: milano, italy They went with a ac/heater system from Vintage Air, so the heater housing was removed. The heater is hidden near the glove box. Don't like the look, but funcionality is great
