I put larger brakes (11x2.5) on my '60 Fury , and first test drive had terrible rapid pulsing. The drums were just cut and the guy would have told me if they were out-of-round. Upon inspection and close measuring I found the balance weights on the drums were hitting the Kelsey-Hayes wire rims. Chrysler wheels on Chrysler drums should not do this !! A spacer or a little grinding will fix it !!!

Chrysler did not use "Kelsey Hayes" wire wheels.

They were/are Motor Wheel Corp. wheels.
