What's the correct finish on door strikers from the factory for the 1960 model year? Mine on the Desoto looked to be cad plated with a crappy body color overspray job on top of them. My friends 60 Dodge with original paint has them painted from the factory (so he says, I haven't seen in person).

On my dodge, they were cad plated (I painted mine silver)

The plymouths been sand blasted and primed, so anyones guess there

Painted body colour on all my FL's ('57 to '61) and on all I've ever seen up until the "pin" style which were cad plated.
My '60 Desoto is an adventurer as well...
