Help please.

Trying to ID part numbers and possible source for brake return springs for my 60 Imperial. I am pretty sure front and rear are the same. Is there an easy way to ID the correct spring?
Are used springs a waste of time?
Am trying to solve the front left brake grabbing when cold.

Steve.

According to my 1960 parts book, all 1960 MOPARs with 12" brakes used part #1944 257. It lists 8 needed per car, so front and rear are same and they are for 12" only. 1961 full sized MOPARs with 12" drums used #2267 066 springs with a note saying that the # is "changed or addition". Don't know if that means it's the same part but the # has been changed?
A great site that's very well organized and easy to navigate through that has a LOT of NOS & used MOPAR parts is "Collectors Auto Supply". That's where I found my NOS "PLYMOUTH" tailgate script. Probably one of if not the rarest peice for my car.
If they don't list it, I believe they said they had parts that weren't listed also. Look under, I believe, "1960 full size MOPARs", then enter year, brakes, "GO" and it will list 100s of brake parts by numerical order that they have, prices, and fairly well detailed applications. Its just fun to go donw through all their parts. Little pricey but mabe there is a part that you can't find any where.
