Location: Waterloo, IL (near St, Louis, MO) | Hi all,
I have to move soon and I need to sell my 1958 Plymouth. It's a 4-door sedan, 318 Powerflite. It was an Arizona car until I brought it to Illinois 10 years ago. There is some rust in the trunk floor and inside floor panels, but it's overall solid. The 318 runs strong, but the pf leaks. The car has working power steering and brakes and I rebuilt the entire front end that now has less than 10 hours of driving time on it. The brake lines and hoses have all been replaced, along with some of the old wiring.
That said, the car needs full restoration. It's a great platform, but it's not pretty as it sits. The interior needs to be completely redone and it needs some dents pounded out and a repaint. I have all the pieces and a couple of extras including a cast-iron Torqueflite (1958 as well I think), a couple of working radios, all the trim you need to convert to Belvedere including elbows, upsweeps and the thin strip that goes along the bottom. I also have the aluminum strips for the lower grille and recrhomed Belvedere name plates.
All four doors are straight and solid, and all the glass is good. The car is located in southern Illinois, near St. Louis, MO. There's a brief video of the power brake conversion at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQ8tZNX8QYQ so you can see a little of the car.
Asking $2000.

Location: Waterloo, IL (near St, Louis, MO) | Update: Here are some more detailed shots of the car. There is a hold on the car right now by a FL member and I will update the status of the sale as it develops.
