Subject: Powerflite or Torqueflite?

Trying to figure out if my '59 Coronet with a 326 cu in engine has the 2 sd Powerflite or the 3 spd Torqueflite. Any body know how to determine this?

As well, will a 2 sp Powerflite bolt up to a 383 cu in engine?

How many buttons on the shifter, if dr and low, it is a pf.

Not 100% true... Only if it is stock. Remember you can use the 2 speed pushbuttons with a 3 speed trans.
