Has anyone gotten a new shaft seal for a 57-58 Vickers pump? The one Rock carries is perfect shaft diameter and width but the bore is 1.25 and the bore in the pump is 1.31. I have 3 pumps and they are all the same so I know it is the correct bore size. I hate to go to seal companies and pay the minimum order amount for one seal if someone has bought one recently and can share the make and part number.

Bob, go to Napa they have a seal catalogue and may be able to match it up.

I have a very old Trostel seal catalog and that '54-'57 pump calls for a seal that's 3/4" X 1.254" X 1/4" (#423294).

CR seal #7481 has the following dimensions, .750 X 1.301" X .250"

What do you mean "minimum order amount"? We have local bearing and seal stores that can match up just about any bearing or seal and you can buy just one if you want.

Many of the seal companies won't sell you one and have a minimum order. I got one coming from eBay. Thanks I may need a referral to one of your sources in the future.
