Wonderful help, Rosy! Thanks. Is there a paintbookp54 file, though? I'd hate to be missing the one page that perhaps I'd like to see! The scans seem to be 50, 51, 52, 53, 55, but no 54.

Fear not, Ed!
I didn't scan the pages, so the numbering system of the photos really has no meaning. I photographed each page, then "Photo Shopped" them with cropping, labels and such, and then just assigned each a photograph "number" myself for my own use. So "page 54 was just an extra "working copy" of page 55.
The only images that I didn't bother photographing were the first "title page" (that is just a sort of copy of the front cover), and some of the flowery descriptions that were on the backside of the upholstery samples. Here's the only info that might be useful IMHO:
- The plain vinyl for all models was called "VINAHIDE".
- The FireFlite patterned vinyl for Trim Codes 541, 542, 543, 544, 545 was called "WESTMINSTER TWEED" - it also states that there was "LUXURIOUS SADDLE STITICHING" on these interiors.
- FireFlite station wagons = "LUXURIOUS EMBOSSING ADDS YOUTH AND VERVE TO THE TRIM MATERIAL IN THE NEW FIREFLITE STATION WAGONS", and the blurb describes the upholstery as being "BREATHABLE".
- Firedome Trim Codes 511, 512, 513, 517 = this "BODY CLOTH IS A GLEAMING SILVERED BROCADE".
- Firesweep Trim Codes 504, 505, 506 = this body cloth is described as being "TWINKLING STARLIGHT CORD".
- Firesweep Trim Codes 514, 515, 516 patterned vinyl was called "NUGGET TWEED" ("exclusive to the Firesweep").
I didn't photograph the individual paint samples either but I made the "1957 DESOTO FIRESWEEP PAINT" chart a while ago and I tried to make those colours as close as I could to the samples from this same book.
I made the "1957 DESOTO FIREDOME & FIREFLITE PAINT COLOURS" using the samples from Ed's "THE ULTIMATE 1957 DESOTO SITE" - I encourage all 1957 DeSoto owners to check out his site!

You're welcome, everyone.
I was lucky to grab this book on Ebay in 2012, and for a fairly decent price, and WAY below the $300 to $600.00 dollars that I've seen them go for. Yikes.
You see them on sale every now and then, but they do seem to be a tad rare. That's why I like to share the info with other '57 DeSoto owners when I can.
Happy DeSotoing!
