Looks like a real nice Desoto, I check the eBay listings and did not see this come up, you must have been quick!
Keen to see more photo's of both your cars,

It still has the original 341 Hemi, the seller didn't know any better. |

| The owner sent me some more pics, it appears to be a factory A/C equipped! The compressor and brackets are in the trunk...
Also, I know the seat material is not correct, does anyone have pics of what a Fireflite Sportsmen should look like?

Location: New Castle PA | You might get lucky and find pictures of the correct interior once you know the cowl code, by going to the "interior pics by code" pages of my web site, http://www.angelfire.com/de/petrus/index.html I don't have pictures of ALL the codes, unfortunately. I'm going to guess the code will be 543, gray/white cloth and vinyl, in which case I MIGHT have pics but don't have them posted, as I'm not sure that I've properly identified them... I can send what MIGHT be 543 to you directly.

Ed's site is such a great resource for all of us DeSoto owners!
Also, I have a vintage 1957 DeSoto Dealer's Paint & Fabric book at home, and if you're patient maybe I can post from photos of the fabric samples for you?
Happy DeSotoing!

I posted the photos in the "General Discussion Forum":
.
http://www.forwardlook.net/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=50179&...
The samples came from a DeSoto Dealer's paint/fabric book. I think there might have been a few more "special" fabrics available back in the day?
Hope the photos are helpful!
