Location: Victoria, BC, on Vancouver Island, Canada | No snow here in Victoria, in fact we haven't had any since about January 2012. None last winter at all !
Last week though it froze every night and the roads were all salted. so the car didn't come out this weekend even though it was sunny and dry. |

Location: Edmonton, Alberta | Global warming....OMG!!!!!
Here's tonight's weather forcast
Warnings
City of Edmonton - St. Albert - Sherwood Park
3:26 PM MST Friday 06 December 2013
Wind chill warning for
City of Edmonton - St. Albert - Sherwood Park continued
Extreme wind chill values below -40.
This is a warning that extreme wind chill conditions are imminent or occurring in these regions. Monitor weather conditions..listen for updated statements.
Frigid temperatures combined with moderate winds will result in extreme wind chill values below minus 40 overnight and Saturday morning.
At these extreme wind chill values frostbite on exposed skin may occur in less than 10 minutes.
For my American readers, -40 C is exactly equal to -40 F |

When the weather your way is terrible we usually luck out with milder than usual weather....we will see if that is true this year |
