Location: hampton mn | I read some where on here that a b-body exhaust can easily be fitted to forward look cars. Has anyone done this? I cant get the search engine to work well on here. Summit sells a complete mandrel bent kit for only 209. I like the mandrel better than crushed bends. |

Location: central Illinois | I don't see how it could possibly work. The difference in wheelbase alone would factor against it. My Coronet R/T has a 117 in wheelbase while my 59 Firedome is 126 in. Factory H pipe B bodies tip the pipe outward right before the mufflers. That won't work for you. B bodies with 383's didn't use the H so you may be able to add to the length, really not sure. The possible exceptions would be IMO, tailpipes may be adaptable but you would have to add to the length to get them to the bumper. The mufflers could work if the inlet and outlet sizes work for you. Really not worth the effort. |

Location: Big pimpin' | B-Body exhaust could work, but as stated, it would take ALOT of work..Mainly in the OVER the crossmember in these cars, VS UNDER the crossmember in the B-Body cars. I personally made my own exhaust for mine. 2 1/2" All the way out with 2 chamber flowmasters. One thing about these cars is plenty of room unlike the B-Body cars which are smaller... |

Location: Under the X in Texas | I bought a "perfect reproduction" B-body exhaust system from Gardner and it didn't even fit my B-body all that well. Nuff said. |
