1958 Chrysler New Yorker convertible. Very rare only 666 made. Sold new in France, full history known, matching numbers. 392 hemi, PB, PS, power windows, power seat, power top, Navy blue. Oui, oui! If they have all the parts and pieces (which it sounds like they do), someone could reassemble, paint and drive pretty easy. Or, someone could spend a truck load of cash and have a perfect trailer queen.

I wonder what's between the speedometer and the clock. A tachometer ?

You can also see the yellow headlight bulbs, like on my Imperial.

It would be interesting to see the cowl tag on this one, or vin plate. Frederic, yours was originally imported to France, correct? I wonder if this one was too or whether it was originally sold in the U.S.A.? You could expand your collection!

But no more discounts due to the weak dollar. It looked like the Euro was getting near parity. Now we can all come to visit!

Being sold new in France, it's been probably sold by France Motors, like my Imperial. Would be indeed a nice addition. But the overall cost of a restoration afraids me a little bit ...

Nice convertible project and at least it's rust free. The photos of the restored ones in Sweden recently posted are superb examples. Beautiful car.
