Those Buick tail lamps are lame. Too bad the GM cab, but they probably had an extra one.

I have too much respect for Mopars and Buicks to do that.
The '60-'66 Chevrolet/GMC trucks look good enough to me as built. Remember, the '60-'62s pickups used Mopar style torsion bars!
Remember the guy who did the same thing to a '64-'66 Chevrolet pickup using '60 or '61 Chrysler body parts?

It's different and its a cool looking ride. I think it is fairly well preportioned and thought out and it only uses some basic left over front sheet metal probably from a parts car that was goin to be scrapped anyway, I'd love to have this as my shop truck just the way it is, or maybe with some metal flake candy color, a golden commando under the hood, a set of chrome reversed rims with spiders or lancer flippers, a chrysler astrodome instument cluster, and a sparlkly square plymy steering wheel, a pair of swivel seats, and a p/b t-flyte! YEEHA I 'd be the space Cowboy from Hell!!! well may be only on this sight! In this case, he/she is a long ways away from a completed unit. So, it's hard to draw any conclusions based on what we see here. I would suspect that this project will undergo many alterations/changes of direction before it's done. So, casting judgement at the point on this person's project is pointless, premature, and unfair to say the least. My only word of caution to this person, is if you really want to avoid pissing of the Mopar crowd put a Mopar mill under the hood. Otherwise many more may find this project unacceptable based solely on what's under the hood... |

How will the GM body lines be milded into the front clip?
What does it have, a Plymouth wagon payload? 500 lbs, maybe? Worthless.
To me, it looks exactly what it is: A Plymouth clip on a GM body. Yuck. |

I'm figuring he kinda knows what he's doing since he-
chopped the roof 3.5"
sectioned the body 1.25" above the body line and another 4.25" at the rocker
added '59 Chev rear bumper up front, and a '60 Chev wagon rear bumper in rear
added '62 Buick tail lights
and it's all on a '84 Chev wagon frame with a SBC and 200-4R (just found that out)
Hey he's not asking you to drive it around! ![](http://forwardlook.net/forums/images/emoticons/bleh.gif) |

chopped the roof 3.5"
I don't see where he chopped the top. Especailly 3 1/2"
The roof lines, rear/front glass height, looks the same to the stock truck sittin' beside it. |
