Everyone who sees you in this car, the only one like it in the Washington area, is going to notice it and you, to give you "thumbs up", ask what year it is, and
engage you in conversation. From the double round headlights to the rocket fins
and big rear end, dripping with chrome and solid american steel, this car
reminds us of the heyday of Detroit. You can lie down in the front seat
(maybe you were conceived there!). No need to share ashtrays, there are
separate his and hers in the dash. Relax with the push-button transmission.

Plusses: I have owned this car 7 years and in that time rebuilt and sometimes
improved upon every single mechanical system. The engine was lovingly rebuilt
by a retired master. A new radiator is 40% larger than the original. An
electric fuel pump avoids vapor lock. The gas tank has been cleaned and latex-lined inside. A custom-built exhaust system keeps it quiet. I've put on shocks, tires, battery, shoes, water pump, brake cylinders. The steeering box has been rebuilt. With only 67,000 original miles, its tuned and ready to roll.

Minusses: she's not pretty anymore, her body needs some loving attention.
Her two-tone green makeup is faded and peeling here and there and she has
a few nasty age spots. Her trunk floor is seriously melting away. Her
chrome is all there but really needs some sprucing up.

That's the first time I ever heard tell of a trunk floor "melting away". LOL

She looks clean, though.....
