Read the earlier posts on the Torqueflite leaking, looks as though I am not alone, I tried the shrinkwrap solution and it worked, but make sure the car is jacked up so the fluid is away from the cable for a few days if possible. I still have the problem with the fluid coming from the dipstick tube though, anybody have any solutions on that? Anybody out there have a 59 Saratoga? I have one for sale, if I don't sell it by the fall I will probably do an engine/under carriage restoration on her (the body was done 5 years ago). Will be looking for trunk/floor pans especially. Any info would help, thanks Rich.
