You're right, Eddie. Taste is subjective. I usually do ignore such stuff, but for some reason, it stung me this time. Thanks for the reply. One time, a couple of fellow hobbyists, both technical advisors for national Chevy clubs, got together with a few of us. We wrote a list of GM production and technical blunders dating back to the 1950s. We came up with over forty. All the manufacturers had both strong and weak points. I believe Mopar always had a superior drive train, even during the years of quality control problems and the troublesome emission carburetors used during the mid 1970s. I do feel sad that Damlier-Chrysler has shelved the new V-8/ rear drive platform they were planning to introduce. It was supposed to have a 355 cublic inch "semi-Hemi". That would have been one heck of a car!
