My ef up on one part. For a moment I was thinking GM... The part about the separate flywheel is wrong. On 1956-1961 Torqueflite/Powerflite the torque conveter bolts directly to the protruding crankshat flange. On 1962 and up we have a separate flex plate that bolts up to a different crankflange and the torque conveter bolts up to the flex plate. And that is that!
