WCFB's throttle plates are small. AFB(Aluminum four barrel) has different throttle plates ,slightly larger on the primaries and still larger on the secondaries. The early AFBS are very different from later AFB's being produced ie.".Edelbrock Performance Series" or "Carter Performer Carbs" in that they have electric chokes and still larger secondaries. You will need a spacer plate,still made, longer mounting studs(come with new carb) and wire up for that electric choke. A new air cleaner housing will have to be bought also. Performance is very good, depending what CFM you want. 600,650,700 etc.. Hope that helps!
