Ummm, let's see. After doing a dry compression check, if you have low compression in some cylinder, I believe you can squirt some oil in thru the plug hole, do your test again, then let it sit for a few beers, then do it again. I guess if your rings are really worn, the oil would leak back down into the crankcase during that time, so your wet reading would be much higher? I dunno, something along those lines.
