Tim Whose disc brake system is it? Or is it one of those b body spindle changes? You were correct by checking the rod. When you say you can spin the front wheels are they free or does it take some effort to spin them? Discs do drag a slight bit, but one hand will spin the wheel. With that in mind, are you sure it's the fronts and not maybe the rears or maybe you have a drive shaft parking brake? Didn't give us much to work with here. . . Steve
