Wilson Gas tanks can be soldered or welded. The trick is to get them cleaned out and fill them with water just below where you're fixing it. Remember!! It's the fumes that BLOW!! So if there isn't any space for fumes there will not be any KABOOM!! If you have any doubt in your ability in doing this don't do it. I've heard about natural gas pipes making some noise when a tourch was used on them. This is after them setting open in the open air for years. The gas gets in the metals pours. Regards Dan
