Dean, simple, ask little Mikey over there who makes those NORS (I guess that is what youl'd call 'em) air cleaners, WHO had their's chromed! You want Mike to send you some GOOD detailed pictures, AND, names/addresses of those who got theirs chromed. You wanna talk to them. Also run up to the shop that does your chroming, show them a copy of Mike's advertisment web page, and ask what their opnion is on chroming whatever those lids are made of.
